Radon & Mold Testing

Radon gas is an odorless, colorless, and tasteless gas which makes it extremely hard to identify before it's too late. Radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer and both mold and radon can cause respiratory problems in young children and adults. Concentrated levels of Radon and the presence of mold are extremely dangerous. Using specialized equipment, we are able to detect Radon gas and mold to prevent serious health risks to you and your family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Real Answers for Real People.
Why is a home or property inspection so important?
Having your home inspected could save thousands down the road.  It may be something as simple as fixing a negative grade on the outside of your home.
I already own my home, do I still need an inspection?
Home inspections should be done regularly to assure safety, maintenance, and prevention of costly or hazardous problems later.
How often should I have my home inspected?
Home maintenance is offered to a home that I’ve inspected to reinspect every year at a discounted price from the original inspection. This will help the home owner stay on top of any problems that may occur throughout the year.
What do you look for in an irrigation inspection?
An irrigation inspection includes checking the clock, fully operating the system, and reporting on leaks or low pressure and lawn coverage.
Do you offer warranty inspections?
Yes!  When you are buying a new home,  the seller may offer a 12 month warranty at the time of sale.  A home warranty inspection is performed at 11 months to identify any problems before the warranty runs out.
What services do you offer to sellers?
D2 offers pre-listing inspections to sellers.  A pre-listing inspection is performed to find any major concerns so the seller may correct or list them.  A pre-listing inspection ensures there are no surprises for the seller when an offer comes in and the buyer performs an inspection.
What is a four point home inspection?
A four point home inspection is focusing on the main parts of the home:  roof, structural, plumbing, and electric.
How long does it take to test for Radon?
Radon is found all over the world. It is the second leading cause to lung cancer after smoking.  A short-term test will take 3 days verses a long-term test that will take 9 months.  A short-term test may not be as effective as a long-term test. However, it can determine if immediate action for Radon mediation is needed.
